Although we do not currently stock video equipment, Concert Systems can arrange for the hire provision of video recording and editing facilities tailored to your event. From a simple one-camera set-up right through to complex multi cameras, we can liaise with trusted partners in the video industry. Often when providing sound or lighting equipment we are asked to record an event, and our clients usually prefer to deal with just one main contractor. We then arrange to hire the necessary equipment and staff, and ensure the smooth running of the event.

Facilities available

As well as recording an event, we can arrange for the video-editing, and for the printing and production of DVDs if required. As well as being an accurate archive recording, a DVD can be used for publicity, as a souvenir of the event, or as merchandise for sale.

Examples

Previous single-camera work has included: recording solo artistes; weddings, parties and other functions; corporate events, product launches, fashion shows etc.

Using two or more cameras we have covered theatrical performances, school sports days and school plays, and small concerts. Schools in particular are wary these days of who is recording the children and often restrict cameras. We can provide a recording of a play or sports day for example, and these can be a great source of revenue for school funds.

With multiple cameras we can arrange to record larger concerts, synched to our sound facilities. We can also cover large corporate events, for example the recent BGC Partners Annual Global Charity Day at Canary Wharf, London. For this event Concert Systems not only provided a fully distributed sound system over the whole of the 20th floor, but also staging and a lectern, plasma screens, and an array of wireless microphones.
