Corporate Hire - Conferences

Conferences typically require specialised equipment which we can provide. Sound systems feature a Chairman's microphone and Delegate microphones, with suitable override switching (see below for example systems). We can also provide, where needed, lecterns, staging and lighting, projectors and screens (front, rear or overhead projection) and other audio-visual equipment. Facilities can be provided to cater for conferences of up to several hundred people.

Microphone console unit with built-in loudspeaker

The size of the back-lit graphic display makes these units easy to read. Icons and text associated with the keys make the system easy to use even for non-expert users, and multiple languages can be displayed.

The two main keys for talk or book, and cancel (or priority-mix for president) and loudspeaker volume are easy to reach and relevant LED indicators, additional to the display, give you an immediate feedback of the status whilst you are seated.


The screen can also be used for displaying messages originating from a PC interface. The delegate units can display information regarding voting, time lapse for conference and voting, booking queue, date and time, and so on.

The Forum System has been designed to manage conferences, debates, presidents desks in auditoriums, conventions and meetings.

  • Offering outstanding versatility, the system is simple to wire, easy to set-up and use, in a limited time.
  • Several microphone consoles are available to optimise microphone operation automatically, without the need of a control unit.
  • Many operational modes can be chosen through the LCD display and simple menus.
  • For more advanced use a complete set-up menu adds flexibility to the system allowing you to personalise several parameters.

The system offers the following operation modes:

  • Free Discussion (where all microphones can be activated at the same time)
  • Discussion with limited number of active microphones (6 to 1)
  • Discussion with one microphone active at a time with override facility of the previous one
  • Simultaneous or sequential one language interpretation system
  • Booking facility can be associated to the discussion modes and queue size can be limited from 10 to 1. At the appropriate time, a certain number of consoles booked will be automatically switched on according to the list, as soon as someone ‘cuts-out’ his microphone
  • Automatic microphone switch-off after 30 seconds of inactivity can be introduced
  • Configuration of the 2 universal aux inputs in combination with vox, activation/mute command, priority
  • Dome Camera control (with PC control of the active microphones)
  • Digital anti-feedback processor
