Open Air equipment hire

Concert Systems can supply a wide range of equipment suitable for outdoor events. From staging, lighting and sound systems down to a simple megaphone, we can supply high quality equipment designed to withstand the rigours of outdoor use: weatherproof speaker systems, marquees, covered stages, rugged microphones, open air lighting, power generators etc.

Equipment:

For general speech and background music, we use industry-standard weatherproof 100v line music horn speakers, on solid stands, with time-delay systems fitted if required at larger venues for added clarity. For concerts and music we can supply large high quality sound systems up to 50kw and more.

Radio microphones allow unrestricted movement, and music playback or recorded commentaries are catered for as we can include mp3 players, CD players, DAT recorders, cassette players, miniDisc etc.

As well as stage lighting, we can also arrange general site lighting. Quartz-halogen lights and power generators will meet safety requirements for outdoor events.

We can even put a mobile tannoy speaker system on your car or van to help publicise the event, or to advertise your local election candidate!

Concerts and Theatre in parks: recent events have included concerts with the Halle Orchestra, Theatre In The Park for Lancaster City Council (using speakers hidden in trees), and Creamfields (using big sound systems in marquees).

Red Nose Day:

Various events throughout the region and nationally. Concert Systems typically supplied small portable PA systems with radio microphones, both handheld and headworn, plus playback facilities such as mp3 players, minidisc players, DAT machines etc.

Cheshire Show:

Using 100v line waterproof horn speakers on stands around the showground for speech and background music. Wireless headset microphones were provided for the commentators.

Carol services:

Every year for local carol services we provide staging, colour wash lighting, a PA system and a power generator. A mix of hanging and handheld radio microphones are used for the choir.

Fireworks displays:

Fireworks displays have become sophisticated events, with music accompanying the displays and large crowds in attendance. We have catered for crowds of up to 15,000 people using high quality sound systems of 40-50kw.

We have been involved in major events at: Albert Dock, Liverpool; Salford Quays; Castlefield, Manchester; Heaton Moor Park, Manchester, and many more.
